Salary: $331,975 annually (PSA rate for 35 hours/week), prorated for part-time
Hours of Position: Daytime hours; 35 hours per week

Job Description:
Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre (SOAHAC) is seeking a Family Physician to join our interdisciplinary primary care team at our London site. SOAHAC is an Aboriginal Health Access Centre providing wholistic primary care, mental health, and traditional wellness services to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit individuals and families. Care is grounded in cultural safety, trauma-informed practice, and community relationships.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive family medicine services, participate in collaborative case planning, and contribute to prevention, chronic disease management, and health promotion initiatives. Physicians at SOAHAC work in a team environment that includes Traditional Healers and Elders, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Mental Health clinicians, and Social Workers.

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients across the lifespan.
• Support chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care plans.
• Practice in a culturally safe and trauma-informed manner.
• Maintain accurate clinical records consistent with regulatory standards.
• Participate in clinical quality and safety initiatives as required.

Qualifications:
• Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
• Certification or eligibility for Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP preferred).
• Independent Practice licence (or eligibility) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Experience working with Indigenous communities or in AHAC/CHC environments is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to cultural humility, collaboration, and wholistic care.
