Originating as an artistic response, red dresses symbolize the tragedy of over 1000 missing and murdered Indigenous individuals. Please note: The day can be triggering for those affected by MMWIG2S+ loss. You can connect with the MMWIG2S+ support call line at 1-844-413-6649. This line is available free of charge, 24/7. Since 1974, @nwac_canada has advocated for Indigenous women, girls, and gender-diverse people.
