Special General Meeting – Bylaw Vote

IPAC Member Virtual Town Hall

The town hall offered a high-level walk-through of proposed bylaw changes, highlighting key updates and creating space for questions. Members were invited to review the draft changes, ask questions and share feedback.
Virtual Screening and Conversation – Nechako: It Will Be a Big River Again

On January 21, 2026, IPAC hosted a virtual screening of Nechako: It Will Be a Big River Again, followed by a conversation with filmmaker Dr. Lyana Patrick (Stellat’en First Nation).
The film traces the Stellat’en and Saik’uz Nations’ long-standing efforts to heal the Nechako River after decades of environmental harm caused by the Kenney Dam. Following the screening, Dr. Patrick shared reflections on land, restoration, and Indigenous resilience, and engaged in a meaningful Q&A with participants.
This event offered a powerful reminder of the strength of Indigenous Nations and the ongoing work of restoration, resistance, and hope.

Resident Guiding Circle

Resident Director Dr. Tina Nash hosted a virtual Resident Guiding Circle, creating space for residents to connect, share how things are going, discuss resident-related concerns, and receive important IPAC updates.
Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences and needs in a supportive, community-focused environment.
IPAC Member Virtual Town Halls
Dates: October 7 & 21
Location: Virtual (Zoom)
IPAC invited Indigenous physicians, residents, and medical student members to join an open Town Hall to share their expectations, priorities, and ideas for the organization’s future.
Participants discussed representation, leadership development, and governance priorities, helping to guide IPAC’s ongoing work to strengthen Indigenous leadership and voice in medicine.
