The Pacific Region Indigenous Doctors’ Congress (PRIDoC) is a biennial international gathering hosted by Indigenous medical organizations from across the Pacific region. The Congress brings together Indigenous physicians, medical learners, researchers, and health leaders to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and advance Indigenous health.

PRIDoC brings together Indigenous physicians, medical learners, and health leaders from across the Pacific to connect, share knowledge, and strengthen Indigenous health globally.

The 2026 Congress is hosted by the Medical Association for Indigenous People of Taiwan (MAIPT) under the theme: 55+ Hand in Hand, Moving Forward.

PRIDoC 2024 – Our Language, Our Culture, Our Health

December 2nd – 6th, 2024
The Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA) hosted a gathering on Kaurna Country (Adelaide, South Australia) for the Pacific Region Indigenous Doctors Congress – PRIDoC 2024, held from December 2 to 6. The event explored the theme: Ngadluku Warra, Ngadluku Tapa Purruna, Ngadluku Purruna (Our Language, Our Culture, Our Health).

The congress brought together leading Indigenous doctors’ member organizations from across the Pacific, including AIDA, ‘Ahahui o nā Kauka, Association of American Indian Physicians, Indigenous Physicians Association of Canada (IPAC), Medical Association for Indigenous People of Taiwan (MAIPT), and Te Ohu Rata O Aotearoa (Te ORA).

PRIDoC 2022 – Connecting with the Spirit of the Land

July 10–15, 2022
The Indigenous Physicians Association of Canada (IPAC) hosted the 10th biennial Pacific Region Indigenous Doctors of Canada (PRIDoC) conference from July 10 to 15, 2022, in Vancouver, British Columbia. The event was held on the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples: the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. PRIDoC is an Indigenous-led space for Indigenous physicians, residents, medical students, health researchers, healthcare professionals, and allies. We come together around shared concerns related to the health and wellness of Indigenous communities and nations across the Pacific region.
