IPAC Regional Mentorship Gatherings

We excited to announce our 2026–2027 Regional Mentorship Gatherings for Indigenous medical students, postgraduate trainees, physicians, and Indigenous Medical Learner Support Staff. These gatherings provide an opportunity to build relationships, strengthen mentorship networks, connect across all stages of training and practice, and share in culture, community, and connection.

What to Expect This Year
We’re stepping off campus and focusing on bringing people together through activities and experiences in local communities, creating space to deepen relationships, strengthen connections, and spend time together in meaningful ways. Find a gathering near you and join us as we continue to build and strengthen Indigenous medical communities across Turtle Island.

Virtual CaRMS Panels for Indigenous Medical Learners

Each October, hear from Indigenous residents and fellows from a range of specialties as they share their journeys through the CaRMS process.

This is a space to hear real stories in family medicine, surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry, and more. Our panelists will speak honestly about the challenges, the wins, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way.

After the panel, we’ll leave time for questions and conversation. Whether you’re applying this year or just starting to explore your options, this is a great opportunity to connect, learn, and feel supported on your own path in medicine.

Thank you to CMA Foundation for supporting our work and helping us achieve our mission.
